The Dill Family Wish List makes gift giving easier for the whole family. Here's the short version.
How it works
- Tell your family what you'd like. Add anything you're hoping for to My Wishes — a link, a size, a note, whatever helps.
- See what everyone else wants. Open Gifts to browse your family's lists and claim a gift to give, so two people don't buy the same thing.
- Keep track of what you've bought. Your Shopping list remembers what you've claimed and what's left to buy and wrap.
The surprise stays a surprise
When you claim a gift for someone, they can't see that it was claimed — the surprise is safe. For the same reason, log in before you browse so the site knows who you are and keeps the right things hidden from the right people.
Common questions
How do I join a family group?
Groups are set up by your family's organizer. If you're not in one yet, email us and we'll add you. Once you're in a group, you'll see the other members' wish lists under Gifts.
How do I add something to my wish list?
Go to My Wishes and use the “Add a new wish” form. A short description is all you need; you can also add a link, a price, or notes to make it easy for your family.
Will people know what I picked for them?
No. Gift claims are hidden from the person receiving the gift. They can see their own list, but not who has claimed what.
What's the difference between “secret” and “hidden”?
A secret gift is one added for someone as a surprise — it stays out of their view. Hiding one of your own wishes just tucks it away from your list without deleting it, in case you change your mind later.
I forgot my password. What now?
On the log in page, use the “forgot password” link (or go straight to reset your password). We'll email you a link to set a new one.
